Abstract: |
Six trenches were excavated showing that the ground level was levelled and made up in modern times. Frequent modern truncations would have destroyed any potential archaeological remains. No features of archaeological significance were uncovered and no evidence of the farm depicted on Rocque's map of 1760 seem to have survived. |
