Abstract: |
Borehole survey of former railways sidings at Three Bridges, West Sussex. Two boreholes encountered a remnant of an alluvial sequence at depth >4m below made ground. The alluvium was organic in nature and preserved pollen, possibly relating to a post-medieval agricultural landscape. |
