Abstract:		 In November and December 1997 the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England (RCHME) carried out an archaeological survey and investigation of the former iron works at Duddon Bridge in Cumbria. The survey recorded archaeological remains in the immediate vicinity of the standing remains of the iron works. These included natural and man-made watercourses and a terrace way which may have been the main approach to the works. The survey also recorded the site of a former bobbin mill. (This was report number 6/1998 in a previous series)
