The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The Devil's Lapful, a Neolithic long cairn which was only one of four such definite long cairns in the county was surveyed by the RCHME as part of a wider survey of all scheduled monuments in the Kielder Forest area. The monument was relatively well-preserved although part of the cairn had been heavily robbed of stone for a sheepfold attached to its north-western edge. The purpose of the survey was to inform management plans for this group of monuments and also to increase the currency of the NMR for the area. [AIP]
