Abstract: |
A geophysical (magnetometer) survey, covering approximately 2 hectares, was carried out on agricultural land known as Warren Field, to the north of Horkstow, North Lincolnshire, in advance of the submission of a planning application for the construction of a single wind turbine and associated infrastructure. No anomalies of obvious archaeological potential have been identified by the survey although linear anomalies due to recent agricultural activity have been noted. On the basis of the survey the site is considered to have a low archaeological potential. |
