Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in October 2017 at Dowles Barn Close, Barkham Road, Wokingham. Five 20m long by 1.8m wide trenches were excavated. Two undated gullies of which probably served as land drainage features, were excavated in Trench 5, while one undated gully and two undated postholes were excavated in Trench 2. Extensive modern disturbance in the form of demolition rubble was uncovered in Trenches 2, 3 and 4. |
