Abstract: |
The Iron Age hillslope enclosure known as Higher Castles or Broomfield Camp was the subject of a large scale earthwork survey, undertaken by English Heritage as part of their archaeological survey of the Quantock Hills AONB. The survey suggests that this subrectangular enclosure has a further enclosure to the north and east, and that this also dates from the later prehistoric period. |
