Abstract:		 Pre-Construct Archaeology Ltd (PCA) was appointed by CgMs Heritage. to undertake an archaeological evaluation on Land south of Howe Road, Rowner, Gosport, Hampshire. The Site is the subject of a residential development. The evaluation forms part of a staged approach to understanding the archaeological implications of the proposed development. The evaluation was intended to ensure that, in the event archaeological remains are encountered, they are to be recognised, characterised and recorded. The evaluation revealed no archaeological deposits or features and appears to have demonstrated that the Site retains very little archaeological potential.
