Abstract:		 Archaeological monitoring was carried out on 24th August 2018 by Oxford Archaeology East at the Abbey College in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire (TL 29436 85099). The work entailed monitoring of test pits as part of geotechnical investigations undertaken in advance of a planning application for a 3G sports pitch. Six test pits measuring no larger than 3m by 0.30m were observed and no archaeological features were identified. A single fragment of medieval tile was recovered from Test Pit 2.
