Abstract: |
An archaeological trial trench evaluation was undertaken by AC archaeology in advance of the construction of new dwellings on land at Aller Road, Kingskerswell, Devon. The site lies at the current north extent of Kingskerswell on land between Aller Road to the southwest, Torquay Road (the former A380) to the northeast and the Barn Owl Inn to the west. The Barn Owl Inn, originally 'Manor Farm with outbuildings', is a Grade-II listed building believed to have 17th century origins. The results of the trial trenching were negative. |
