Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in July 2019 on land at the former Margaret Stancomb Infant School, Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Five trenches were excavated. The remains of probable garden features and a wall were recorded in the west and north-east of site respectively, all of which correlate with features shown on late 19th century mapping. The remains of modern structures associated with the recently demolished school buildings were also recorded. |
