Abstract:		 This report details the key findings from the Vale of York National Mapping Programme project carried out by staff from the Aerial Photograph Interpretation and Investigation team of English Heritage between January 1998 and Dec 2000. This is primarily a management report concentrating on the methodology and products of the air photo interpretation and mapping. There are brief period and thematic summaries that highlight key results of the survey.
