Abstract:		 In February and March 1997 the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England carried out an archaeological survey of Beacon Hill Fort, Harwich, Essex (NMR Number TM 23 SE 32; SAM Number Essex 182; Essex SMR Numbers 54-5). This survey was carried out at the request of Essex County Council, to assist with the future management of the site.
