Abstract: |
Archaeological survey of Trencrom Castle, though inconclusive, the survey broadly supported the recent proposal that the site should be reclassified as a possible Neolithic 'tor enclosure' rather than a later prehistoric hillfort. However, the survey also suggested that the earthwork was probably extensively modified in the late Iron Age and that its present condition has been affected significantly by later stone quarrying. |
