Abstract:		 This volume represents the first stage in a Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment (RCZA) undertaken by Humber Field Archaeology, on behalf of English Heritage, in order to provide an assessment of the archaeological potential of the coast between Whitby, North Yorkshire and the Norfolk border. This volume covers the coastal sector between Flamborough Head and Donna Nook, and includes the banks of the Humber estuary as far upstream as Sunk Island and Grimsby. This work was undertaken between April 2006 and May 2007.
