Abstract:
This report details the key findings from the Hampshire Isle of Wight ALSF national mapping project carried out by staff from the Cornwall County Council between July 2009 and January 2010. The project contributed to an assessment of potential aggregate producing areas on the Isle of Wight for the Aggregates Levy Sustainability Fund. The report describes the methodology and results of the air photo interpretation and mapping to National Mapping Programme standards. There are period and thematic summaries that highlight key results of the survey and an analysis of the survey results.
