Abstract: |
Archaeological works were undertaken in support of the construction works at Inverquharity Farm, Kirriemuir, Angus. The archaeological works comprised monitoring of all groundbreaking works and were designed to mitigate adverse impact on the archaeological remains from the construction of an agriculture structure. The archaeological monitoring only identified features relating to the 19th and 20th century use of the farm which were recorded both in plan and section during the progress of the works. No earlier archaeological features or artefacts were identified and as such it is recommended that no further work were required. |
