Abstract: |
The Environment Agency proposes to undertake works in the valley of the River Tame at Forge Mill, Sandwell. Monitoring of the engineering trial pits recovered little in the way of direct archaeological evidence, however it did clarify the nature of the deposit sequence along the river corridor and allow areas of archaeological potential to be more clearly identified. |
