Abstract:		 Archaeology South-East (ASE) was commissioned by CgMs Consulting Ltd. to undertake archaeological investigations on land at Marringdean Road, Billingshurst, West Sussex (NGR 508810 124650). The archaeological monitoring of the groundworks uncovered deposits associated with the utilisation of the site as a prisoner of war camp in the late 1940s. These consisted of areas of hard landscaping, discarded artefacts, the locations of two of the site huts, and evidence for the water supply and foul water arrangements for the camp.
