Abstract: |
Archaeology South-East was commissioned by Wilmott Dixon to undertake an archaeological watching brief on the redevelopment of the former Wildernesse School site, Seal Hollow Road, Sevenoaks, Kent. No archaeological finds or features were identified during the archaeological monitoring of the groundworks. Undisturbed topsoil and subsoil deposits were identified in Areas 1 to 3. Extensive truncation from a previous structure was identified in Area 5 and the depth of Area 4 did not extend beyond the topsoil. |
