The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Archaeology South-East was commissioned by CgMs Consulting to undertake an archaeological evaluation at the former Midhurst Grammar School, Midhurst, West Sussex. The evaluation comprised three trenches. Natural Rother terrace deposits were recorded between 24.33m and 24.84m aOD. In the south of the site, they were cut by a single small linear of uncertain date containing worked flint as well as CBM. A relatively undisturbed sequence of subsoil and topsoil was recorded across much of the site while modern made ground was observed in the areas of previous buildings.
