Abstract: |
The archaeological work comprised the monitoring of the excavation of foundation trenches. Natural Hackney Gravels were recorded between 0.75m and 1.20m below ground level. The natural deposits were cut by a series of service runs and pits, all of 20th century date. The modern features were overlain by made ground and topsoil. No archaeology was recorded during the watching brief. |
