Abstract:		 John Moore Heritage Services carried out an archaeological watching brief to the rear of Northfield House, 11 Northfield End, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. (NGR SU 76009 82983). Groundworks consisted in the partial reduction of the area and the excavation of footing trenches. No archaeological features or finds were recovered; however, the numerous modern interventions observed might have obliterated any archaeological remains present.
