Abstract:		 Northern Archaeological Associates Ltd (NAA) was commissioned by Statera Energy Limited to undertake a geophysical survey of land at Howick Hall Farm, Penwortham, Lancashire (NGR: SD 50020 28201). The survey was required to assess the archaeological potential of the site in support of a planning application for the development of a battery storage facility. The survey was carried out on the 18th of July 2017 and covered an area of approximately 1.2 hectares of farmland under pasture at the time of survey.
