Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was completed at Gunnery Hill Phase 2, Shoeburyness, Essex, between the 5th and 14th of March 2013. The work was commissioned by Ramboll on behalf of Country and Metropolitan Homes to monitor groundworks during the excavation of a pipe trench. No archaeological finds or features were encountered, which is due to the fact that excavations only minimally extended beyond made ground deposited over the last 5 years to raise the ground level for the current development.
