Abstract:		 This report describes the results of a research excavation undertaken in 2008 of the site of a Mesolithic flint scatter located to the east of the 19th Century deserted Larkbarrow farmhouse. There is a reasonably extensive area of late Mesolithic activity, evidenced in the form of flint finds; there is also limited potential for surviving contemporary archaeological deposits.
