Abstract:		 Between September and October 2018 KDK Archaeology Ltd undertook a programme of Observation and Recording of the Lodge Wall, RSPB, Sandy, Bedfordshire as a condition of the planning permission for the development of the site. Ground reduction was undertaken in two areas along the length of the wall where the re-profiling of the tree covered slopes to the south of the main road had taken place. During this investigation, a root filled ditch was observed within the trench of the eastern development area. No dating material was recovered from the fill of the ditch and its function is unknown. No further archaeological finds, features or deposits were exposed.
