Abstract:		 A watching brief was carried out in May 2015 at the rear of 33 Hyde Close, Winchester, Hampshire. The site lies in the area of the 'Northern Roman Cemetery' and construction of a rear extension to the existing property had the potential to disturb burials. Trench excavtions for new foundations and drainage were shallow and did not reveal any archaeological resources.
