Abstract:		 Between the 8th of May and 3rd of August 2018, Oxford Archaeology East (OA East) conducted an archaeological excavation at the land at Eye Airfield, Yaxley, Suffolk ahead of construction of a New Processing Plant at the site. The area was initially evaluated by OA East earlier that year. Two areas were recognised as needing further investigation - they were both located on the eastern side of the proposed development area. This project uncovered remains dating from the Middle Bronze Age, the Roman period and the early medieval, late medieval, post-medieval and post-medieval to modern eras.
