Investigations were targetted based on results of preivous desk-based assessment. Remains assocaited with Roman saltmaking and settlement were identified north of Guyhirn. Roman and undated ditches were found north of Murrow along with a spread of probable Roman daub. Ditches of the medieval and later field system were recorded. |
