Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out between 12th and 20th October 2017, during preparation of working areas for horizontal directional drilling beneath the River Don. Two unstratified struck flints were recovered south of the river. North of the river, nineteenth-century pottery, glass bottles and ironwork was found in the location of the former Nether Haugh steading, shown on the 1869 OS map (NJ71NW0171). |
