Abstract: |
Trent and Peak Archaeology was commissioned by the Hazleton Group, to conduct a geophysical survey and trial-trench evaluation of archaeological potential on land off Hickling Lane, Long Clawson, Leicestershire, centred on NGR SK 71742 26974 at a height of c. 75m OD. The fieldwork recorded various ditches, pits and evidence for ridge and furrow, as well as remains of a possible C13th stone building. |
