Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	Trenches were opened to investigate the proposed location of new buildings. Trenches 2 revealed a cultivation soil, between 0.6-0.8m thick. A single ditch aligned NW-SE, was exposed in Trench 2. The undated ditch was substantial, at least 1.5m wide and 0.7m with a series of fills suggesting a field boundary with associated bank to the west. The mineralised nature of the fills indicates that the feature was of some antiquity.
