Abstract: |
A programme of archaeological works was undertaken by Albion Archaeology at 6a High Street, Eyeworth in Bedfordshire during the construction of side, front and rear extensions to the property. Archaeological features observed during the monitoring works comprise pits containing 20th-century debris associated with the modern development of the site and two undated ditches. The features identified represent historic or modern boundaries and disturbance associated with the modern development of the site. A single abraded sherd of pottery dateable to the late Saxon/ Saxo-Norman period was recovered from excavated spoil. |
