The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A geophysical survey, comprising detailed magnetometry, was carried out by Archaeological Surveys Ltd on land at Castle Street, Aldbourne. The results indicate the presence of a number of positive and negative anomalies, but they are weak and poorly defined. Two broad linear anomalies appear to relate to former lynchets extending along the south facing slope. A zone of weakly magnetic debris could relate to former burning or dumping, but it may also be associated with industrial waste or magnetically thermoremenant material such as tile or brick.
