Abstract:		 A programme of various mitigation measures was carried out in advance of a mixed use development at King's Stables Road, Edinburgh, which included an evaluation, watching brief and excavation. This programme of works was undertaken subsequent to a Level 2/3 Historic Building Survey and evaluation works. The excavation identified the remains of buildings mostly relating to the 19th and 20th century development of the site.
