Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology during groundworks associated with the development of flooding defence system at Floral Way (Dunston Park) - Area 1, Dunstan Green - Area 2 and Land between Francis Baily and Kennet Schools - Area 3. No features or deposits of archaeological interest were observed during groundworks in Area 1. An evidence for a possible past filed system was encountered within Area 2. A drainage ditch and remains of Roman road were identified in Area 3.
