The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation and metal detecting survey was carried out by GUARD Archaeology Limited, on an area proposed for residential development at Carrickstone, Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire. The trial trench evaluation of 8% of the total area proposed for development (13 ha). Four archaeological features were encountered during the evaluation, as well as some metal finds. The work was undertaken between 11th and 22nd January 2016.
