Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out to record the nature and extent of any archaeology revealed during the construction of a house at Mybster, Caithness. 300m to the east of the site are the remains of Knockglass Broch (NMRS ND155SE5) Scheduled Monument no.561. No recorded sites were noted with the proposed site itself. The site was cleared of topsoil and turf using a mechanical back-acting digger fitted with a straight-edged bucket. No archaeological features were uncovered. |
