The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The archaeological evaluation recorded a limited sequence of events predominantly associated with field drainage. The earliest feature identified on the site was a sub-circular, coal rich feature which is thought to potentially relate to the disposal of traction engine waste which would have been on site for agricultural purposes in the early Modern period. In addition, a number of features relating to agricultural water management were identified on the site which appear to fall into three distinct phases of activity. An undated, probable plough scar was the only other feature identified on the site.
