The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The evaluation, which consisted of ten 40m trial trenches identified an unfenced road and series of post-medieval furrows in Trenches 1, 3, 4, 6 and 8. The unfenced road is shown on the 1903 edition of the OS map. Two post-medieval ditches were also identified in Trenches 2 and 9. The ditch in Trench 2 was shown as byway on the 1903 edition of the OS map. A small assemblage of post-medieval fired clay, iron nails and a clay pipe fragment was recovered from these features. The evaluation also recorded two natural features in Trenches 1 and 3.
