Abstract:
A topographic survey conducted in advance of road improvement works has found that traces of linear features running from south-west to north-east, underlie the holloways system alinged sout-east to north-west. It was concluded that the various components documented during the assessment and recording phases of cultural heritage work at Heeston Bank formed part of a closely interrelated, well preserved historic rural landscape which merits further study.
