Abstract: |
Wessex Archaeology has been commissioned by Reports 4 Planning to carry out an archaeological watching brief at the Wheelwrights Public House, 126 Southbridge Road, London Borough of Corydon, CR0 1AF. The proposed work is being undertaken in support of a planning application for the redevelopment of the Site. The archaeological works were required in compliance with Condition 4 of the planning consent granted by the LPA in relation to the development. No finds or features of archaeological significance were noted during the watching brief. A modern shallow wall foundation and deliberately backfilled modern it cut to the south of the former Public House were observed. |
