The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological excavation and watching brief was undertaken by a team from Cambridge Archaeological Unit on behalf of Hanson Aggregates PLC on a 1.77ha site at Baston No. 2 Quarry. The excavation revealed settlement and field systems of Middle Bronze Age date, in addition to pits, wells and postholes with complimentary domestic debris, including a large assemblage of pottery, was excavated and recorded. The results of the excavation provide an insight to the community of the Bronze Age people and place the site in context with the surrounding landscape.
