Abstract:		 Between the 9th of May 2018 and the 4th June 2017 York Archaeological Trust conducted a watching brief at Gypsey Race Park, Bridlington (TA 1778 6675). The work was undertaken for ESH Construction to help inform a planning application that was under consideration by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council (DC/16/0328/REG3). This was based on a Written Scheme of Investigation (WSI) produced by YAT. The works involved the creation of a linear park along the course of the Gypsey Race. Archaeological monitoring was carried out on groundwork associated with this landscaping
