Abstract: |
Twenty-five trenches were opened mechanically under archaeological supervision and potential archaeological features were investigated by hand. A metal detector survey was also carried out. Two ridge and furrow systems were revealed as well as an undated ditch. The metal detector survey recovered very few items, mostly of 18th century or later date, but one lead seal may be medieval. There was nothing relate to the Battle of Bosworth. |
