Abstract:		 In January 2021 Archaeological Solutions (AS) carried out an archaeological evaluation of Plots 2 and 3 Land South of Hall Lane, Oulton, Suffolk (NGR TM 5131 9414; Figs. 1 - 2). The evaluation was undertaken in compliance with the initial requirements of a planning condition attached to planning approval for proposed construction of two dwellings (East Suffolk Planning Refs DC/19/4170/ARM and DC/20/4361/ARM). The evaluation was required by the local authority based on the advice of Suffolk County Council Archaeological Service SCC AS. The site had the potential to reveal further evidence of multi-period archaeological remains. That said, the evaluation of the adjacent plot, Plot 1, revealed no archaeological features or finds (Haygreen 2018). The current evaluation revealed ?Ditch F1003. Its two fills were sterile, lacking finds and organic material. Possibly the feature was of natural origin.
