Series: Keystone Archaeology unpublished report series

In July 2014, Keystone Archaeology (KA) and Bishop Grosseteste University (BGU) were commissioned by Caistor Arts and Heritage Centre and the Down Your Wold Project to provide a community based excavation in 'Bettie's Garden', forming land to the rear of 4 Cromwell View, Caistor. The investigation recorded modern rubble spreads containing small quantities of redeposited late post-medieval artefacts. The excavations were stopped before they extended beyond a deep layer of likely late post-medieval imported horticultural soil, however, and no significant archaeological features or deposits were therefore encountered.
