Series: Thames Valley Archaeological Services unpublished report series

Thames Valley Archaeological Services was set up by Steve Ford in 1988 and is a medium sized archaeological field unit operating throughout England; we became a Limited Company in 1999. We have around 25 permanent staff. We have carried out over 1300 projects and produced around 1600 reports in the last 17 years, including around 150 publications. These projects range from 1 person/day watching briefs to substantial area excavations involving a large team of excavation and post-excavation staff. Our corporate and individual experience is extensive and we undertake projects of all periods and site types. We produce reports for clients and for archive, and publish significant findings in local, regional and national learned (peer-reviewed) journals, as well as in our own refereed monograph series.We are an IFA Registered Organization.
