Introduction

Land East of Buckingham Archaeological Evaluation (cotswold2-282467)

An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in August-September 2016 at Land East of Buckingham.

Thirteen trenches were excavated. Archaeology was absent in the vast majority of trenches, however, evidence of Romano-British activity within the landscape was recorded in one trench, with further evidence for medieval agricultural activity.
